Eukanuba Discover Dogs is London’s biggest dog event this year taking place on 17 and 18 October 2015 at the ExCel centre.
It is an opportunity for meeting many dogs while talking to owners. There are also shopping displays and stalls.
The show was designed to enable visitors to make the best decision when choosing a new dog based on breed characteristics, and to support them through meeting canine organisations and dog handlers.
Anyone who has been contemplating the idea of getting a puppy or perhaps a rescue dog can get a feel for the different breeds including popular breeds, classic breeds, unusual breeds, vulnerable breeds and trending breeds.
For example Chelsea and the West London area in the last few years include the following beautiful dogs, by category:
- Most popular dogs
- The Labrador Retriever (11%)
- The Cocker Spaniel (8%)
- The Staffordshire Bull Terrier (4%)
- The Miniature Schnauzer (3%)
- The Border Terrier (3%)
- Top trending breeds
- The Smooth Coat Chihuahua (179%!)
- The Bulldog (88%)
- The Whippet (77%)
- The Pug (57%)
- The Miniature Schnauzer (53%)
- New breeds in the area
- The Border Collie (40%)
- The Weimaraner (14%)
You can watch agility exercises, competitions and training, all taking place under one roof.
