Three-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cleo has been left behind after her pups all found new owners. So here is your opportunity to adopt her!

With her glossy eyes and pricked-up ears, Cleo is surely one of Dogs Trust Manchester’s most adorable tenants.

So with Mother’s Day on Sunday, the Trust is hoping the maternal spirit will see someone give Cleo the loving home she deserves.

Lesley O’Donoghue, Deputy Manager at the Rehoming Centre, said: “Cleo did an amazing job as a mum. It was a large litter and, of course, she’d been through a huge change to her life just days before giving birth, so we are all so proud of how she coped.”

“She is an adorable little dog with lots of love to give.”

Cleo gave birth to four girls and four boys days after arriving at the centre.

But now she is no longer a full-time mum, she has time to enjoy long walks and playing with her toys.

Cleo is looking for a home where she is the only dog and would suit a family with children no younger than 11 years old.

Lesley added: “She is really lively and a quick learner, so it would be great for her new family to continue doing fun training with her – but she loves her cuddles too!

“We know all her pups are now happy in their new homes, and that’s all we want for her too. She really deserves it.”
