Some dogs work as assistance dogs helping us. That includes guide dogs helping blind people move around safely. There are also search and rescue dogs who help rescuers save lives. And there are other assistance dogs who keep calmness and safety in people’s lives.
An example of assistance dogs is those who are trained to use their high senses to sniff out drugs, explosives and illegal goods, and alert us to potentially dangerous health issues!
